About Us:

The Grateful Dog is an eco-friendly doggy playcare and wellness center tucked into a serene corner of San Francisco's famous Lombard Street in the Marina District. We see daycare as an opportunity to reinforce desired behaviors in your dog and perhaps even teach him some new tricks. Think of it as personal training rolled into the price of playcare!

We specialize in special needs dogs, seniors (we even have an elevator) and puppies, but all breeds and ages are welcome. Unlike many local daycares, our handler-to-dogs ratio is about 1:6, so rest assured that your pet shall receive the attention he needs.
